who joined the group in time for a series of shows in St. Louis and Corgan's hometown of Chicago. These dates featured yet a third set of music, different from the previous two, bringing the total number of songs in Zwan's repertoire up into the neighborhood of 60. After inking a deal with Reprise, Zwan released their first single, "Honestly", in November 2002. Their debut album, Mary Star of the Sea, followed in January 2003, coinciding with a sold-out, five-night stand at the Metro in Chicago -- the same venue where the Smashing Pumpkins had been laid to rest two years prior. Sadly, the life of Zwan was short lived. Founding member Billy Corgan annouced the band's break up in September 2003, adding that his "heart was in Smashing umpkins."

Kasabian is a British band from Leicester, England. Its members met while attending Leysland High School and Countesthorpe Community College. The band is named after Linda Kasabian, a member of the Charles Manson cult (aka the Manson "family").The band has been compared with the likes of Primal Scream, with whom it shares an electronica-indie rock fusion, and Oasis, with whom it shares confidence, swagger and rough vocal style.Kasabian was a supporting act for Oasis during the latter's 2005 Don't Believe the Truth-supporting tour, about which they commented: "You can't fuck with Oasis." Kasabian has been described as "Music made by the people for the people."Kasabian's new album, titled "Empire", will be released in the UK on the 28 August 2006. As a self-described "call to arms" The first single from the album, also called "Empire", has as of July 31st hit #9 on the UK charts, based on downloads and single sales alone. The album seems to focus on the horrors of war, and the problems of waging it.

“ Neither a flat-out retread nor a full-fledged progression, Version 2.0 is almost too accurate a title for Garbage's second album.
